It’s time to reclaim your body for an active lifestyle. Much of the pain we experience comes from simply not knowing how our bodies work. Aching in the neck, back, hips, and knees signals a problem that can be helped by proper breathing, reprogramming weak muscles, and core strengthening exercise. Your body is unique and requires a unique exercise program.

West Michigan Physical Therapy, PLLC, will give you an individual assessment, and teach you what it takes to keep your body in motion for the rest of your life. If you’re experiencing pain, our program will educate and inspire you to start moving again, correctly.

What to expect during the first visit:

Plan for a one-on-one session with an experienced Physical Therapist lasting about forty-five minutes to an hour long. This is to become familiarized with your diagnosis, history, and current limitations. Some treatment may be done during this first visit. Each follow up visit will approximately take 45 minutes.

What to wear to each visit:

  • Please either wear or bring with you clothing that is easy to move around in or flexible – jeans and other rigid clothing can alter the course of the treatment.

  • This goes as well for foot wear. If you can bring tennis shoes or other stable foot wear, please do. Refrain from wearing sandals that have no back-strap support if possible.
